Attorney Samuel Leib Successful in Diagnosis Malpractice Case

Attorney Samuel Leib successfully defended a physician accused of failed diagnosis. The plaintiffs alleged that the physician breached the applicable standard of care in failing to diagnose a stroke in a patient who had been previously diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Attorney Leib was able to show and convince the jury that the physician followed the appropriate standard of care and was not responsible for the unfortunate medical results.

Attorney Samuel Leib successfully defended a physician accused of surgical malpractice. In this case, the physician performed surgery to remove a cystic hygroma from the plaintiff’s jaw. The plaintiff developed a post-surgical nerve deficiency. A year and a half after surgery, the plaintiff was diagnosed with a spinal accessory nerve injury. The plaintiffs claim the tumor should not have been removed, informed consent was inappropriate and the surgery was performed negligently.
