In the Federal District Court of Wisconsin Bill Katt and his team defended a pilot who was involved in a single airplane crash. One of the plane’s passengers brought suit for over $1 million, alleging that the pilot failed to activate manual alternate air controls that could prevent icing and ultimately, engine failure. With our successful defense, the jury was convinced the pilot’s negligence was non-causal and that a defect in the airplane’s filters caused the engine failure. The plaintiff received nothing.
