Application Engineering
A cooling tower manufacturer, Application Engineering was involved in a lawsuit which alleged that their tower was responsible for a Legionnaires Disease outbreak affecting 33 people in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Although the State of Wisconsin identified Application Engineering’s tower as the source of the disease, the three week trial convinced the jury that the State’s determination was faulty and that the product was not defective or unreasonably dangerous.
